” Without the participation of China , it would be much more difficult for the group to discuss and solve the development problems of the global economy . With the participation of China and other emerging economies like Brazil and India , the group has become more important, ” said Dvorkovich at a press conference on the upcoming summit of G8 and G20 in Toronto, Canada.
He said the position of the Chinese leaders and their proposals in the three previous peaks of G20 have helped stabilize the world economy .
qua Dvorkovich noted the decision by China to further reform the exchange rate of its currency was not the result of external pressure .
He said that all countries , including Russia , China and the United States can not allow outside factors to guide their domestic policies. The nations must understand , however, shared responsibilities and mutual responsibilities in the global economic system , “he said.
