The White House said Thursday that U.S. President Barack Obama has postponed his visit to Australia and Indonesia provided at the end of the month, without explanation.
Obama told the Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s decision in separate telephone conversations, said the White House press secretary Robert Gibbs in a statement.
“The president will make arrangements to be about to visit these two countries” and plans to hold bilateral meetings with MM. Rudd and Yudhoyono on the sidelines of the G-20 in July in Canada, “said the spokesman.
